  3. 3 We Invoice A Percentage Your agreed percentage applies to that received insurance payment only.
Patient payments carry no fee.

Four Pricing Models, Compared Honestly.

Knowing how each model works makes any quote easier to compare, including ours.

ModelHow it worksWhat to watch
Percentage of collections
OneBill RCM uses this
A percentage of the insurance payments actually collectedWhat counts as "collections": patient payments, billed charges, or only insurance payments received
Per claimA flat fee for each claim submittedFees are earned on submission, whether or not the claim is paid
Flat monthly feeA fixed amount each month, often by providerWhat happens to denials and follow-up work above the expected volume
Hourly or itemizedBilled by time or by taskHard to predict; easy to under-invest in follow-up

With a percentage of insurance collections, we are paid only when the payer pays, which keeps follow-up on denials and old balances worth doing.

Old A/R Has Its Own Rate

Inherited insurance claims older than 120 days are worked at a separate rate set in your quote. That rate replaces the standard rate for that work and is never added on top of it. Claims we manage in the ordinary course do not move to the old A/R rate just because they age.
